"Equipping Soldiers today for tomorrow’s battles!"

With 17% of the world’s population, India is the world's second most populous nation after China. India is located on the Indian subcontinent in South Asia. With the diversity of language and beliefs the country is a patchwork of cultures.

Spiritual darkness looms over India. The only hope for the people of India is Christ, the Savior. One of the difficulties is a closed door for foreign missionaries. That’s why Born Foundation Academy is training natives to reach their own with the gospel of love and hope.

That is one reason why the Born Foundation Academy is vital to the country. BFA will have graduates going out into the world to preach the Gospel. It costs approximately $80 per student per month for Born Foundation Academy to train nationals, a tiny fraction of what it costs to train missionaries from outside India.

Born Foundation Academy was found as a vision given to Prasanna, Philip, Jacob and the rest of the group when they were a prayer group in seminary in 1998 - 2000. Prasanna worked with gospel recordings through them he went to Bihar to teach a tribal group of students for 3 months. On return the Lord laid a burden to train young people who have a desire and the potential to reach the next generation.

Born Foundation Academy is a grass-roots organization started in June of 2006 with a dedication to train students to reach the next generation. BFA’s mission is for all students to serve the Lord. The college is a non-profit institution, and is not a part of any denominational hierarchy or structure. BFA maintains a strong set of spiritual and behavioral standards.

At BFA we seek to reach the un-reached people in India through building godly servant leaders with character, vision, and skill to build others up in the Lord (2 Timothy 2:2).

Our long term goal is to bring all under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see the kingdom of God advanced in the world through education. In short, our goal is to help fulfill the Great Commission through training, equipping, and planting of Bible based churches that honor the living Word through the teaching of the written Word.

We face a tremendous task of reaching millions of lost souls in these villages of India that have never heard the Gospel. Yes, the harvest is plenteous and the laborers are few. We are praying that God will raise people who have a willing heart to know Christ and make Him known to the world around them. We are committed to the task of equipping a new generation of godly men and women for significant ministry in the 21st century through quality, Bible based teaching. Every student is required to be involved in weekly outreach programs.

It is said that we are living in the greatest days of opportunity when it comes to evangelizing. With opportunity comes great responsibility. Souls are waiting to hear the Gospel of love and hope. 

What you and I can do is be a part of this great mission family investing in building lives for eternity by committing your time in prayer for salvation of souls, supporting the work by volunteering, and helping financially so that together we can make a difference for eternity.

Picture at left shows the Jack O'Hara library. It is named after Jack O'Hara, because he had donated approximately 25% of the books there from his personal library. This library was started by 2 books and later the library of Dr. Samuel Babu our founder president was donated by his wife .The vast majority of the rest was purchased and collected by Daniel. A shipment is expected by end of January 2007 donated by TBN to be distributed to like minded colleges. BFA is acting as a channel for this distribution. Thanks go out to all these individuals for their generosity.

Picture at right is during a Christmas celebration and nativity drama. Over 200 people including some from surrounding villages attended. All heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Picture at left shows some of the children that come each day after school for tutoring. While tutoring, they learn about Jesus Christ, and are given the Gospel.
